The FutureMakers Coalition
As the director of the FutureMakers Coalition, Tessa oversees a network of over 250 individuals and 140 partner organizations, all working towards the common goal of transforming the workforce in Southwest Florida. The coalition prioritizes students who face significant challenges in achieving educational attainment, whether they are traditional age students, adults with some college but no degree, or those without any post-high school education experience.
Joining the Southwest Florida Community Foundation
In August 2014, Tessa joined the Southwest Florida Community Foundation as the Director of Social Innovation & Sustainability. In this role, she spearheaded the development of innovative solutions to understand philanthropic impact. By mapping individual organization and local outcomes to the Sustainable Development Goals, Tessa created a framework that facilitates collective impact and enhances the positive outcomes of philanthropic investment.
